Upload and insert images

Solution If you have an image on your computer that you wish to upload to the server for addition to a page in the editor:

- First, open the page that you wish to insert the image to.

- Next, place the cursor at the place that you wish to insert the image at.

- From the toolbar at the top of the editor, select the "Insert/Edit an Image" icon (which looks like a small photo image).

- Now you should see a window popup titled "Insert Image". If you don't, please make sure that your popup blocker is not stopping it from being displayed.

- If you would like to upload your image into a specific directory on your server, open the location from the directory tree on the left hand side of the window.

- Under "Upload an image:", click on the Browse button, and navigate to the location on your computer that contains your image, and then select the file and click OK. (Note the file type & image size restrictions under the Upload File button, your image must meet these requirements in order to be uploaded.)

- Next, click on the Upload File button.

- You image is now uploaded to the server and should be visible in the directory tree, click OK to return to the editor.

- Finished... You should now see the uploaded image placed at the location you selected earlier.

Optional Image Properties Adjustments:

- At this point, if you would like to adjust your image, right click on the image and select "Image Properties".

- You should now see the "Image Properties" dialog window. Again, if this does not appear, please check your pop-up settings.

- From here, you can adjust your image Width, Height, Title, Positioning (for the flow of text around the image). You can also adjust the amount of blank space displayed between your image and the text on your page. The Positioning Preview will show you what your modifications will look like.
